Sales Growth for Iconic NZ Brand

Sales Growth for Iconic NZ Brand

Since 1963, Norsewear has built its name on one simple idea: tough comfort. Made in New Zealand from traceable NZ wool, Norsewear's socks, beanies and outdoor apparel are worn by farmers, tradies and everyday Kiwis who need gear that works as hard as they do. It's a genuine heritage brand, and one we've been proud to support with strategy and ongoing ad management.

On a personal note, I grew up wearing these socks. My grandma and grandad, who were New Zealand sheep farmers, wore them too, and now their sons, and granddaughters do as well. We've always loved the mountains and merino, so it feels full circle to be working with this brand and to be part of helping them achieve such well deserved growth.

The results

  • Online Store sales, up 70%
  • Average order value, up 29%

A lift like that in online sales alongside a meaningful jump in average order value shows this isn't just more traffic, it's more of the right traffic, buying more when they land. That combination of volume and value is exactly what we look for when a strategy is working the way it should.

Why it's working

Heritage brands like Norsewear have a real advantage, decades of trust already built in. Our role has been to translate that trust into a modern acquisition strategy, sharpening targeting, refining ad creative, and making sure the brand's "made to work as hard as you do" story lands with the people most likely to become long-term customers.

We love working with the Norsewear team, not only because they're super responsive to data and feedback and proactive about putting recommendations into real life, but because the collaboration itself feels great. Our whole team is kitted out in Norsewear too, so when we talk about and promote the product, we know exactly why it's superior.

We're continuing to build on this performance, with an eye on sustaining growth through the seasons ahead.
