Launching Sydney George

Launching Sydney George

Every so often a brand comes along that's already done the hard part. The product is right, the craft is right, the story is right, and the job in front of us is simply to make sure the world sees it. That's exactly the position we're in with our newest client, Sydney George.

Helping women in business is a genuine passion and a sweet spot for our team, and working with Katie has been an absolute pleasure from day one. She is lovely, she clearly has an eye for design, and she's been developing these concepts for over a year, so getting to see them come to life has been genuinely exciting for all of us.

Sydney George creates premium, hand-finished leather handbags and accessories, designed in New Zealand and built to be passed down rather than packed away. Every piece, from the Kensington to the Diana, the Cameo to the Balmoral, is designed with considered shapes, genuine leather and hand-finished hardware, for women who know exactly what they want: pieces with presence, made to last, and personal enough to feel designed just for them.

On a personal note, I'm so excited to be taking two of the bags on tour to Italy next month, and I can't wait to show you all more about them! I've already taken my own bag out to lunch once, and the Cameo made quite an entrance: my 91 year old grandma and my 28 year old cousin were falling over themselves to get a proper look at it.

What we're doing

Our brief with Sydney George is twofold: build a strategy that reflects the quality of the brand, and manage their Meta advertising to get it in front of the right audience. As a brand-new account, our early focus is on awareness, making sure Sydney George is seen, recognised and positioned alongside the other high-end names it deserves to sit beside.

Over the coming months, our team will be closely monitoring:

  • Conversions: how ad traffic is translating into genuine interest and sales
  • Traffic quality: who's arriving on site, and how they're engaging once they're there
  • Content engagement: what's resonating, so we can double down on what works

It's early days, but when the product itself is this well thought out, our role is simple: get out of the way and let it shine in front of the people who'll appreciate it most.

We'll be sharing results as they come in. Watch this space.
