About Last Month

October was an awesome month, but it wasn’t without its challenges.

If I’m honest, October had WAY more than its fair share of them. Still, the outcomes were heart-warming, rewarding, and a powerful reminder that while we can’t be marketers for everyone, we have an incredibly talented team of A-players who genuinely care about their clients.

Adding Nicole to the team back in August has been such a great move for us. Caray now has someone else to bounce campaign structures off, and together each week they review every single ad account we manage. Combine that with our Tuesday morning Data Sessions, which have been running for a few months now, and we’re seeing the kind of insights that lead to massive business-changing results.

Marketing is about testing, learning, and using the data to make each week better than the last. The truth is, a lot of businesses don’t yet have the fundamentals in place to support predictable, scalable growth. If conversions are low or unreliable, if the average order value barely covers the cost to acquire a customer, or if ad budgets can’t realistically drive the volume needed to cover fixed costs, growth simply can’t be sustained and it takes a long time.

The businesses that thrive with us are the ones who trust the process, and the data. They let us invest our time where the best opportunities for growth actually are. And they are willing to do the work to do the same. Together, we navigate each month’s uncertainty, and sometimes, the results blow even our highest expectations out of the water, like in October, when one of our amazing clients did $35k more than our top prediction!

We’re looking for a very specific type of client, just like you’re probably looking for a very specific kind of marketing partner. The vibe, the energy, the trust, it all has to be right.

We’ve had a huge cultural shift over the last month. Some of that’s thanks to better internal communication with Slack, and Coles’ refined onboarding process that’s speeding up how we welcome new clients and build their Data Lab dashboards. But the biggest shift is in who we allow into the agency, both clients and staff. I’m not preaching exclusivity or ego. I’m just incredibly proud that we’re finishing the year with a small, f*cking incredible team of marketers who are happiest and most engaged when working with clients who appreciate them, who recognise their care, their effort, and who set them up to win by allowing them to follow the data.

We exist for clients who want growth partners that care deeply, who rely on data to uncover opportunities, and who are brave enough to test, learn, and evolve. If you already know exactly what needs to be done and just want someone to implement your plan, we’re probably not your crew. If you want a team of experts who care, who think strategically, and who are laser-focused on your metrics and profitability, we are your people.

A massive thank you to our incredible clients and to my A team. The energy right now is the best it’s ever been. I’m so excited about what we can achieve together as we head towards the end of the year and into 2026. The alignment, collaboration, and momentum we’re building is something really special.
